Class Structure

What you’ll receive:

The SalviSoul online cooking classes are one of a kind. A combination of instruction, community building, and cultural exploration of Salvadoran cooking. Attendees connect with the recipe but also it’s food history with a supportive community. Participants receive a private Zoom link, a shopping list of the equipment, ingredients as soon as tickets are purchased. After the class, a link to watch the recording is available for students who aren’t able to attend. You will leave feeling confident in your new Salvi cooking skills.

How the classes work:

Karla will be cooking side-by-side with you as everyone goes through each step of the recipe. Attendees are encouraged to be relaxed and ready to cook (or watch) when the class starts. Questions are also encouraged.

All purchases final. Class size is limited to 50 students or households.

A virtual cooking class is the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate team-building or a fun way to connect with loved ones . Each private class is a custom made experience, classes can range from the basics to a more intermediate or expert level class. Popular classes include Salvadoran quesadilla, Salvadoran Horchata Ice Cream, Pastelitos, Curtido y Salsa Roja, Panes con Pollo and more.

Each class includes a detailed list of instructions, customized recipe card, ingredient and equipment list with substitutions plus Q&A’s is highly recommended. By the end of class, participants come out with new skills in the kitchen and more confidence to practice Salvadoran foodways.
