In this live, 2-hour masterclass, we are going to spend time together to prepare a traditional Yuca Frita con Chicharrón, along with all of it’s accompaniments. Second, we will make Buñuelos de Yuca and instead of the traditional spiced syrup, the buñuelos will be paired with a Miso Maple Sauce. As always, I want to share beyond the recipe so I will also be sharing research that didn't make it into the final pages of my cookbook.
Yuca 101: We will demystify this iconic tuber. Together, we’ll discuss how to select the perfect root, the art of achieving that signature crispy-on-the-outside, pillowy-on-the-inside texture, and all of the know how behind these two dishes.
